Bunker Surveys

Our bunker survey services comprise of:

  • BQS or Bunker Quantity Surveys is to provide accurate measurements of fuel quantities supplied to your vessels and at the same time ensuring quality of fuel through industry best practices and fuel analysis.
  • On/Off Hire Surveys, also known as Delivery/Re-delivery Surveys where we assess fuel quantities and vessel condition at the start and end of charters.
  • ROB or Remaining On Board and Investigative surveys to determine fuel on board and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Post-Bunker dispute claims we assist in post-bunker dispute claims arising from bunker operations.
  • Sludge Surveys, we conduct sludge discharge surveys to monitor and document sludge discharge, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Fuel Oil Analysis – With our sampling & analysis services, we collect and test samples to verify bunker quality, providing you with analyses from ISO 17025 accredited laboratories.

Further, we operate in accordance with the relevant ISO standards (13739, 22192) as well as Singapore SS:648. Our surveyors perform the surveys with their own calibrated metric tape and thermoprobe to ensure measurement accuracy. Marine Surveys

At Petro Inspect, we offer expert Marine Surveys such as Vessel Condition Assessments to ensure the accurate description, compliance, and efficiency of your vessels. Our On/Off-Hire Condition surveys meticulously document a vessel’s condition at the start and end of charter agreements, protecting the interests of both owners and charterers by identifying any changes or damages. We also provide P&I Vessel Condition surveys on behalf of Protection and Indemnity Clubs, verifying that your vessels meet all required safety and operational standards.
